I have been a little slow on posting lately - okay VERY slow. For those of you who are asking, I am not sick. Just EXTREMELY tired (and very busy at work). I do not remember being this tired with the other two, but Clint says that I was. I think I could sleep all day and not worry about it (if I did not have two kids to worry about). Anyway, I am making a committment to post more often!!!!
So much has happened in the last few weeks, it is hard to summarize. We have been really busy. So, I think I will refrain from back-tracking and I will just start with current events - like this weekend.
We had SNOW!!! Now, people may laugh when they see the pictures, because it really wasn't a heavy snow. There were places on the ground where it stayed for a while, but it was not a snow like many of you are accustomed to. But, it was enough for my southern kids to be excited. We bundled up and went outside. Isabelle lasted about 15 minutes, Camon more like 45. We had snow ball fights (little snow balls) and made a snowman (about 1 foot high). But hey, other than our ski trips, that was the most snow that my kids had ever seen. Camon said this was the coolest day of his life - wow it doesn't take much, does it?????
Isabelle before she was "Fweezin"
Camon in his winter "garb".
Playing with the Phillips cousins in the tree house (or shall I say tree platform).
Camon eating snow off of our pump house!!
Saturday we went to a Birthday Party and then to Deda's and Mimi's because Aunt Nancy was in from Colorado - she really laughed at us and our "snow". Anyway, then we had church Sunday. And, we were out of school/work yesterday so we went to Uncle CJ's and Aunt Mandi's for the afternoon. We played their Wii most of that time. Camon loved the bowling game and he was so excited because he beat his daddy in boxing (I think daddy let his guard down a bit!! But, shhhh!) Anyway, that was our event-filled weekend.
Clint and I are leaving tomorrow to go out of town with some friends for a long weekend. Clint will be skiing, but I think that I will be forced to pass this time around. Oh well it will be nice and relaxing just hanging out with friends!! Camon is upset because he really wants to go skiing, so we promised him that we would try to go see Aunt Nancy on his Spring Break!!! I will update the blog with those pictures later.

A Christmas to Remember !!!
I know it has been a while since you all have heard from me. It was a truly busy and enjoyable Christmas time. I will go into the details and save the BIG surprise until the end - do not cheat and look ahead!!!!
Camon and Isabelle had a great Christmas. We are blessed beyond measure. Christmas Eve we went to Dad and Mom's for Christmas with Mammy and her side of the family. There was a house full. We had lots of food and fun. We made it home before dark and ate at PawPaw's and MawMaw's house. Then, as we were getting ready for bed, we heard the bells. We ran to the door and sure enough, it was Santa. The kids were so excited. Camon especially. He told Santa Merry Christmas and then almost as if realizing, "Wait, I am supposed to be in bed..." He said, "I am going to bed Santa." And before we could close the door and turn around, he was GONE. He ran down the hall, jumped in bed, covered up, and had his eyes closed tight before we could get in there to him. I then reminded him that we had not put out the cookies and milk. So he got up and helped but kept rushing me so he could get back in bed. It was so cute. Isabelle on the other hand, was a little unnerved that he would be coming back and be in her house while she was sleeping. She cried and I ended up laying down with them until she fell asleep. Camon was so still, I thought he had been asleep for a long time when I got up. But, as I moved, he said, "Where are you going?" I told him I had to go sleep with Daddy and he said ok. I then asked why he was not asleep yet, and he said, " I am just so excited and can not sleep." It was such a good year for him.
Christmas morning Clint and I finally decided to wake them about 8:00. (Because we had a busy schedule for the day) They came running down the hall and saw that Santa had brought them Bicycles. They were excited, but wanted to dig into the other presents, too. After presents, I made pancakes and we put candles in them and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. We ate, got ready and went to PawPaw's and MawMaw's house. They got lots of neat things there, too. Then we rushed to get to my parent's house that afternoon, where there were still more presents. Wow! I think Camon's favorite thing was a Leapster L-Max handheld game. He has played it continuously since. I think Isabelle had 2 favorite things, her camera (which she is quite the photographer - I will have to load some of her pictures later) and her Dora backpack that she wears around all the time. They had a great Christmas.
We were so busy that they never got a chance to ride their bikes. And then it rained for a couple of days after Christmas. So, they finally went out that Saturday. The problem is that we have no concrete, just dirt and grass, so they were not really enjoying the bike ride. Clint and I then took them to the park on New Years Eve and they rode around there. They loved that. So, I told Clint we just needed to pour a walking track around our pasture for them to ride on. Yea Right!!!
Now, for the news!!! Santa surprised Clint and I, too. Picture it, March 2007, I sell all of my kids baby things - car seat, high chair, stroller, clothes, toys, maternity clothes, etc. Now picture it, October 2007, I trade in a Ford Expedition and get a Toyota Camry. Now picture it - A third child on the way! Surprise!!!! Oh yea and we have a three bedroom house!!! Once the shock wore off, we are very excited. We will be even more blessed this year than before. Of course Camon and Isabelle are extremely excited. Isabelle said , "Yessssss!" when she found out. Camon, just stared at me (I thought he was going to cry) and then he said, "Really?" After it finally hit him that it was real, he couldn't quit talking about it. He said, "This baby will never leave my side until it is grown." He has asked all sorts of questions and keeps making comments. He has asked for a baby for about a year now and I kept telling him no. Neither of them fully understand how long it will take for the baby to get here. They have both asked everyday when it will be here. I can not wait to see their faces the first time they see the baby. They will both be big enough to fully understand what it means to have a new baby. I can not believe that we are starting over - ???????? But at the same time am anticipating its life. Oh, and of course Camon wants a boy and Isabelle a girl, so.. Someone will be disappointed. And Isabelle has already said that she is not sharing her "Boyfriend" Daddy with anyone - we shall see!!!!
